JOB SEEKERS

How do I set-up my ANCI Job Seeker profile?

Completing your profile is easy. Set up your profile in the app and remember to include your home location and ABN. The home location will match you to jobs within a 40km radius (anything further than that may take you a long time to get to work and we think travelling is a waste of your time!).

Why do I need an ABN?

An ABN (Australian Business Number) allows you to work for yourself and set your own pay rate. Your ANCI profile is not considered complete until an ABN has been added. You can view job matches in your location without it, but you cannot apply for any jobs. For further advice and information about ABNs, please see your accountant or contact the ATO to register a free ABN today.

What is the best way to get jobs with ANCI?

Have a fun and informative profile description about yourself. Add any skills and experience that set you apart from other candidates and don’t forget to include a photo of yourself. It will put you ahead of the other candidates.

And be the first to respond as soon as you get a new job match notification!

How long are job listings advertised for?

Job posts stay active until the position is filled or until the job listing becomes out of date. This is why we suggest responding early to the jobs you want as they won’t be visible once they have been filled.

What happens if I make a mistake in accepting a job?

You will have to contact the business directly to notify them of any changes. The business can then quickly re-list the job and give someone else a chance to apply.

What happens if the business changes their mind before the job starts?

If you get accepted for a job, but the business cancels the job, you will be paid for a maximum of 4 hrs at your hourly rate. E.g. If you accept a job at $30/hr for 8 hours, the maximum you will be paid is $30 / hour x 4 hours = $120.

What happens if I am not needed for the entire job?

The business has committed to a minimum of 4 hours for a job listing, however it is at their discretion if you are required for the whole shift or not. For example, if you accept a job for 8 hours, and after 6 hours the business decides the shift is over, you will be paid for the 6 hours worked based on your completed timesheet.

When do I get paid?

To get paid you must complete your timesheet inside the app. Here you log your start and end times plus any breaks taken.

Once your timesheet is approved, you get paid within a few days, straight into your nominated bank account! How easy is that! Working for yourself gets you paid faster than working for a business.

What if there is a dispute about the timesheet?

If there is a dispute about the timesheet and it is not processed at the completion of job, the job seeker and business must find a solution that both parties are happy with. If the dispute cannot be resolved, then this may result in delays in payment. See ANCI Terms and Conditions of Use for clarification.

Why is it important to provide a review of the Business I worked for?

Reviews help other users determine if the business is the right fit for them by highlighting their own short-term staffing experiences.

How do I refer someone and get my referral bonus?

You can send a referral code to anyone by using the “Refer Job Seeker” or “Refer Business” function in the app. When you provide their email address, ANCI will email your colleague with your referral code.

To be eligible for any rewards, the referred user (New Job Seeker or Business) must sign up to ANCI using your referral code . The New Job Seeker needs to Mark Interested for any job. The New Business must List a job. Click on the link below for Promotion Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions apply.

How do I set-up my ANCI Business profile?

ANCI provides a platform that connects your business with job seekers in your vicinity that are ready to help you fill a position. Simply sign-up with the app and complete your business profile to start posting jobs. Your profile includes basic address and business information about your business. We recommend adding a logo or business image to add your branding to you profile.

What separates ANCI from other apps?

ANCI wants to provide short term staff solutions for the health care industries through an easy to use app that connects job seekers and businesses and provides a safe and quick payment system.

What costs are involved?

The total cost is equivalent to the Job Value plus the ANCI Service Fee. The Job Value is calculated by multiplying the number of hours by the agreed rate. For example, if the rate is $30/hr and the number of hours is 10, the Job Value is $300.

The ANCI Service Fee is 15% of the total value of the job. For example, if your Job Value is $300,  the ANCI Service Fee is $45. The total amount collected by ANCI is $345 + GST (where GST is applicable).

ANCI will charge you an ANCI Service Fee for jobs successfully filled and worked. If you aren’t able to fill your job you will not be charged.

This Service Fee may vary from time to time (as outlined in our User Agreement) but we will disclose any changes to our users and here in our FAQs.

How are my credit card details stored?

Your credit card details are stored securely using eWAY’s payment portal. Please refer to their privacy policy for assistance.

How long do my job listings stay active for?

Job posts stay active until the position is filled or until the job listing becomes out of date i.e. the day and time of the position they were advertising has passed.

What happens if I change my mind after accepting a Job Seeker?

If you accept a Job Seeker for a job and then change your mind before the job starts, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. You will also have to pay the Job Seeker for a maximum of 4 hours work for the lost shift. For example, if the job is $30/hr the cancellation fee will be 4 x $30/hr plus $50, totalling $170. The $120 will be paid to the worker and the $50 cancellation fee to ANCI.

What if a Job Seeker cancels on me?

If a Job Seeker changes their mind after they have agreed to work your job, you should repost the job as soon as possible to find a new candidate. If the change of mind happens too late for you to repost the job then simply do not approve the candidates timesheet and no payment will be deducted from your credit card.

What if there is a dispute between the Job Seeker and my business?

What happens if a timesheet is incomplete?

If a timesheet is not complete, payment will not be deducted.

How do I pay the Job Seeker?

When you approve the timesheet, the total payment amount (Job Value plus ANCI Service Fee) will be deducted from your credit card.

Why is it important to provide a review of the Job Seeker?

Reviews help other businesses determine if the job seeker is the right fit for them by highlighting their own short-term employment experiences.
